Facilities
The Jedburgh has a mix of 7 bedrooms, some standard, some en-suite, all are equipped with sinks, towels, soaps, alarm clocks and tea/coffee making facilities. The larger rooms are equipped with a fridge. All guest rooms are centrally heated and have new LCD flat screen TV's with freeview. All of our bedrooms have had new carpets fitted in 2011 and we have had our shared shower replaced with a new walk in shower facility.
Rooms 1 & 2 are single rooms (7.57m2 each) on the 1st floor with shared bathroom & toilet. These rooms have 3/4 sized beds and each are equipped with 22" LCD TV's and DVD Players.
Room 3 (13.72m2 inc. bathroom) is an en-suite double - see below.
Room 4 (18.51m2 inc. bathroom) is an en-suite double or family room featured below.
Room 5 (5.82m2) is our small single room with single bed, shared facilities and 19" LCD TV.
Room 6 (12.6m2) on the 2nd floor is also a double or family room with a double and a single bed, shares a bathroom with room 7 only. 22" LCD TV and a fridge in this room.
Room 7 (9.87m2) is adjacent to room 6, can be booked with room 6 to make an ideal family location, as the whole 2nd floor will be yours. This room has a king size bed, 22" LCD TV and a fridge.
Extra pillows, covers and duvets are always available.
Rooms and shared facilities are serviced daily to a high standard.
Ironing board and iron can be provided on request.
This is Room 4 our en-suite family room equiped with a double and a single bed, tub window seat, fridge and a flat screen LCD TV. This warm, comfortable room faces Albert Road, about 300yds to the left is the promenade and beach, to the right is St. Peters Church and the shops on St. Peters Avenue. An additional travel bed/cot can added to this room if required.
This is the smaller en-suite Room 3, recently re-carpeted this is a lovely, cosy, popular room with a comfortable double bed, tub chair, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, alarm clock and 22" LCD TV and DVD player.
Our wooden floor dining room is spacious and modern. South facing, it is a bright and very pleasant room in which to enjoy your leisurely breakfast or in the evening, bring in some food and watch the large flat screen TV.
This room also features a small lounge area with tub seats where you can relax, read the papers and enjoy a coffee or watch TV..
Breakfast
Freshly cooked full english breakfast is available every morning together with a selection of cereals, yogurts,fresh fruit, fresh juice, fresh coffee and porridge to get your day off to a great start. Our bacon and sausages are sourced from our local butcher (Turners) and our eggs are large free range. We can supply a vegetarian breakfast if required.
Breakfast is served between 7:30am & 9am weekdays, 8:00am & 9:30am weekends.
Early/later breakfast by prior arrangement.
Premises
The Jedburgh is fully double-glazed, centrally heated and decorated to a high standard.
We have an LSI Fire Alarm System installed and have a full fire certificate.
We are totally non-smoking throughout the building.
Car Parking
There is a small private car-park at the rear of the premises, with security lighting, please request on booking. Free, unlimited on street parking is available outside the premises in Albert Road.
Motorcycles/Scooters
We are biker friendly with gated, lit, secure motorcycle parking on the premises with bike wash and basic maintenance facilities provided including an air line.
Check in/out
Check in time is from 2.00 pm / check out time is up to 11.00am, although luggage may be left beyond this time for later collection.
